WIPO Pulse: Shedding Light on Intellectual Property Perceptions

WIPO Pulse is a groundbreaking survey conducted by BERENT on behalf of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). It delves into the awareness of and attitudes toward intellectual property (IP) rights on a global scale. With an impressive scope, gathering data from 25,000 interviews conducted in 50 countries, this survey offers a unique snapshot of how individuals and communities worldwide think and feel about IP. Never before has an IP perception survey of such magnitude been conducted on a global scale.

The goal of the research was to generate insights into the awareness and attitudes of the general population concerning IP rights. The survey explored personal connections with innovation and brands, and sought to assess the perception of the impact of IP rights on the economy.

Our comprehensive report includes the key findings of this survey and provides insights into the research methodology employed. It is an invaluable resource for policymakers, researchers, educators, and anyone interested in promoting IP rights and raising IP awareness globally.
