EPO-EIB Study on Cleantech Innovation: The Results

The EPO (European Patent Office) has published a study with the EIB (European Investment Bank) on the commercialisation of clean and sustainable technologies. BERENT was conducting the fieldwork for this study and we are happy to share the results:

This comprehensive analysis delves into companies commercialising novel, patented technologies that are driving innovation in clean and sustainable solutions.

European cleantech innovators stand to benefit from a strong single market, according to the study. The research highlights the importance of a unified approach to cleantech across Europe, allowing these companies to flourish within the EU. The survey was designed to take into account different preferences and cultural behaviour in certain regions and countries, thus respondents could choose between telephone interviews (CATI) and online interviews (CAWI). Additionally, the survey was available in English, German and French languages.
